Richard Beeler is a partner at Robertson Overbey Wilson & Beeler and has been
practicing law in Knoxville and Knox County since 1984. At the University of
Tennessee College of Law, Richard was Vice President of the Moot Court Board
and a member of the Champion Team for the Advocates Prize in Moot Court competition.
His legal practice includes the representation of local governments and government
entities as well as public finance. Richard served as Law Director for Knox
County for ten years from 1980 to 1990.
Richard has served as President of the Tennessee County Attorneys
Association. He has been a frequent lecturer and panel participant
on legal issues affecting local government. Mr. Beeler also
practices in the areas of public finance where he serves as
bond counsel for municipal and county governments, public schools
and school districts and public utilities throughout Tennessee.
Mr. Beeler, along with the other members of the firm, has participated
in over 6.4 billion in public finance transactions over the
past twenty years.
